Environmental Policy

Purpose

This policy sets out Kyros Software Ltd’s commitment to minimising our environmental impact.

Commitments

• Remote-first operations. We operate as a remote-first company, eliminating daily commuting and reducing the need for office space.
• Sustainable hosting. We select hosting providers that use renewable energy or carbon-offset programmes. Our primary hosting provider, netcup GmbH, operates energy-efficient data centres in Germany.
• Digital delivery. We deliver services digitally wherever possible, minimising business travel. Where travel is necessary, we use public transport or video conferencing as alternatives.
• Minimal hardware. We extend the useful life of hardware, avoid unnecessary procurement, and recycle or donate equipment responsibly.
• Supply chain. We consider the environmental practices of suppliers when making procurement decisions.

Carbon reduction plan

We will produce a formal carbon reduction plan in PPN 06/21 format when required by a specific procurement. As a micro company with remote-first operations and minimal physical infrastructure, our direct emissions are negligible.
